The Transformation Triangle

Feel dead inside, stuck in the grind, and lonely? Start enjoying life again without blowing everything up.

This 10-minute exercise exposes the gap between the default identity keeping you stuck and the intentional leader ready to take over. Take your time. Be brutally honest. Specificity brings clarity.

Your Visual Guide

Before you start considering your answers, draw two triangles on a piece of paper using this layout as your blueprint. Using the following steps, you will write your identity names in the centre and map out the corners.

Step 1: Map Your Old Identity

Name the exact version of you that keeps you trapped in autopilot mode.
Example: Catastrophe Carter or The Ghost CEO.

  • Identity Name: (__________)

  • Top / Outcome: What does this version frantically try to protect or achieve? (__________)

  • Bottom Left / Output: What does this version do, fail to do, or actively avoid? (__________)

  • Bottom Right / Operating Field: What hidden fears, old rules, or heavy emotions drive this version? (__________)

Step 2: Form Your New Identity

Name the version of you that is actively fighting to step forward into alignment.
Example: Alive Olly or Grounded Leader.

  • Identity Name: (__________)

  • Top / Outcome: What does this version actually want? Who is he becoming? (__________)

  • Bottom Left / Output: How does this version show up? What boundaries does he hold? (__________)

  • Bottom Right / Operating Field: What clean beliefs, high energy, and clear focus fuel this version? (__________)

Step 3: Spot the Mismatch

Place your physical triangles side by side. Locate the friction point where your old habits are clashing with your future identity.

  • My biggest internal mismatch is: (__________)

  • The single biggest thing that still needs to shift is: (__________)

  • If I were acting fully as my new identity, this week I would: (__________)

Step 4: Lock In One Bold Action

Commit to exactly one micro-action over the next 7 days. Make it realistic, immediate, and concrete.

  • My bold action for the next 7 days is: (__________)

  • I will execute this on (Day/Time): (__________)

  • The obstacle or old habit that will try to sabotage me is: (__________)

  • When that obstacle hits, I will pivot by doing this instead: (__________)

Step 5: Anchor Your Mindset

  • My 1-sentence mantra when doubt hits: (__________)

Step 6: Define Your Stakes

Be clear on the leverage.

  • This shift matters right now because if I stay the same, the cost is: (__________)

  • If I take this step, the life that opens up for me is: (__________)

Step 7: Your Next Move

This diagnostic is about raw truth, real ownership, and strategic movement. You do not have to figure out the execution alone.
